We hope to see our Stilettos in full force Monday, April 15 as we celebrate the Sweet 16 season at the WBB Banquet.  You can expect a great video and photo time with the players, so bring your tissues!  Registration is 6:00-6:45 pm, dinner and program will follow.  Advance reservations are required, so contact 405-325-8322.  Tickets are $45/Child $30. The banquet will be at the NCED Conference Center and Hotel, located at 2801 East State Hwy 9, Norman, Oklahoma 73071.

Last month, we asked Stilettos to save the date for a Tuesday, April 16 mentoring event with female student athletes.  As we continued our plans with our gracious speaker Mo Anderson, we discovered that other commitments for our student athletes were amassing daily.  In the end, very few athletes could attend.  Regrettably we will need to postpone this special mentoring event until the fall.  We know that mentoring our student athletes is top priority for Stilettos, and we will continue to focus on initiatives that positively impact the futures of our female athletes.

 SAVE THE DATE—We will launch a year of mentoring and other Stiletto activities beginning with “My Sister’s Champion”  on September 10, 6:30-8:30 pm.

♥ The Best Place to Be on Valentines Day ♥

Share the love with our Sooner women’s basketball team as they host Iowa State at 7:00 pm Thursday night.  Our ladies are on a super run leading up to the ISU rematch.  What better place to be on Valentines Day than at Pack the Place Pink at LNC.  OU promotes women’s cancer awareness and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund’s Play4Kay initiative.   Stilettos, see you there.

Sharene Campbell steps up-Again

After another stupendous win, our Sooners remain tied for # 2 in the Big 12.

Never mind the 11-0 deficit to begin the game, and the ankle injury that put Aaryn Ellenberg on the bench for the second half.  Big plays by Sharene Campbell, Morgan Hook, Joanna McFarland and Nicole Griffin and HUGE contributions from Hartman, Durrett and Kornett insured a decisive win. That’s how you define TEAM!

Sooners travel to West Virginia for Sunday’s 12:00 pm game and on to Kansas State Feb. 6.     Sooners return home to host OSU February 10, 4:00 pm.  See you in the stands!
